My take on “galaxy nails.”
Nail Polish I used;
On both hands:
Base= Wet ‘n’ Wild: Wild Shine- Black Creme
Dotted with= Wet ‘n’ Wild: Wild Shine-French White Creme
Topped With= Wet ‘n’ Wild: Wild Shine-Kaleidoscope
Right hand:
N.Y.C: Long Wearing Enamel- Big Apple Red
Wet ‘n’ Wild: Wild Shine- Tickled Pink
Wet ‘n’ Wild: Wild Shine- Blue Moon
Left hand:
Wet ‘n’ Wild: Fast Dry- Buffy the Violet Slayer
Sally Hansen: HD- 04 Hi-Def (its a light green)
Milani- Good Morning Sunshine
Wet ‘n’ Wild: Wild Shine- Blue Moon
Wet ‘n’ Wild: Wild Shine- Bijou Blue
Few! That’s a lot of nail polish! All I did was take a make-up sponge cut a really small piece off and sponged with various colors(in the order each hand is given) using a tweezer instead of my hand, then dotted the white with a toothpick, and then topped it off with the glitter polish kaleidoscope. With the blues i tried to outline it around the other colors. For the right I tried to do more of a vertical nebula or whatever. The left I did horizontal.
The result is what you see in the pix! In different lights the colors are a bit different so I provided 2 pix of each hand
I found it super easy cuz to me space is full of all kinds of shapes, sizes, and colors. My left hand, which is the more green/purple/yellow one, in my opinion looks better. Most probably because I did it second and I was less afraid to use more colors. With this design the more color you use the better!
Of course there is always room for improvement but for my first time with this design I am quite happy with the results!!
